Jackpot
The
principle
Combine elements to find something new.
The
method
1. Think of the main 'attribute headings' of a situation, process or
object.
2. Under each 'attribute heading' list six or more alternatives.
3. Combine the various elements to come up with new ideas - not simply
'Frankensteins'. That is, use each and every idea element in a fuzzy
and not a literal way, with a view to coming up with an interesting
new idea and not just a simple joining of parts to create a monster.
Add in some wild 'cards', if you like, such as 'new' where you generate
a completely new attribute alternative.
Example
